Design Process
Requirements Gathering
The goal for Kolabo was to create a user-friendly platform where non-technical users could quickly build professional websites. After collaborating with stakeholders, I identified the need for a template-based solution with a guided, step-by-step wizard to streamline the website creation process.
Defining the Approach
I defined the solution as a combination of a robust template system and an intuitive wizard that would walk users through each step of the website setup. From template selection to content creation and final publication, the wizard simplified the complexity of building a site by breaking it down into manageable stages and ensuring a smooth and efficient creation process.

Implementation, Testing, and Iteration
I worked closely with an external team to develop the website builder, ensuring the template system and step-by-step wizard were fully integrated. Our team then conducted thorough user testing to ensure the wizard was intuitive and to identify any quality issues with the website output. The final product was a robust platform that enabled staff to create professional business websites for Kolabo customers in under 20 minutes.
